3" ceramic polishing pucks are born for quickly removing deep marks/scratches left by metal bond diamond tooling so as to make floor surface smoother and much easier for polishing jobs.
Alike hybrid resin pucks, ceramic does same 'transition' job but more aggressive and better when applied on hard and very hard (like new poured concrete) surfaces.
We do not recommend to apply ceramic on soft and very abrasive floors
